Super Solid Hit
Seriously, I could not be any happier that I purchased this break shaft. The transfer of power it offers has improved my break significantly. I won’t say which shaft I used to break prior to my purchase, but suffice it to say that it will be gathering dust from now on. I am happy that I got the conical taper over the pro taper. While I am sure some of you might prefer the pro over the cone, the extra power transfer has definitely worked in my favor… especially on 9 foot tables with slow cloth. The shaft is smooth as silk, black as night, and the orange tip looks stellar with blue chalk. I know that a shaft’s visual appeal is not that important for play, but why not, right? I pair this shaft with a Viking Defender cue and the 11” extension (which I found gives me more power and control; to each his own). Essentially, it looks like a huge jousting lance. Get one, you won’t regret it!
