His story: Born in Germany, he broke onto the international scene with a string of standout junior performances, including First Place at the European Under-23 9-Ball Championships and early results on the international stage.

He has continued his rise through the world rankings with strong performances across the major tours. In 2023, Moritz captured the Connecticut Open Title and reached the finals of the World Cup of Pool. That momentum carried into 2024, when he claimed victories at both the Medellín Open (Mexico) and the Turning Stone Classic (New York).

The 2025 season marked a defining moment in his career. Moritz won the Premier League Pool Championship with a commanding final performance and was also named Most Valuable Player at the Mosconi Cup, helping lead Team Europe to victory over the United States.

Away from the table, Moritz has a deep interest in engineering and problem-solving.
