The Viking Showroom Open by Appointment Only

The Viking Cue Showroom is now open by appointment only in order to serve you better. Because of an increase in visitors to our facility and limited capacity allowed within our showroom, it has become necessary implement this practice. In doing so, it will allow us to not only continue to provide an excellent customer service experience, but also to protect you and are staff by continuing to comply with current COVID recommendations.

Holiday Delivery and COVID Impact

Due to the high volume of shipping for the Christmas Holidays as well as the effects of COVID-19, December 15th is the last day that UPS can get a package delivered in time for Christmas within the Continental United States. Expedited options are available through December 18th. If you are purchasing a product as a present that you would like to arrive by Christmas, please contact us directly at Viking by email at sales@vikingcue.com or by phone at 800.397.0122 and we will do all we can to make sure your loved one has their present on time.

Back to Normal Delivery Times

As we are adjusting to our "new normal" for managing hygiene and complying with CDC recommendations, we are very happy to say that Viking has returned to normal delivery times and the factory is running at normal production levels.  

Until further notice, please be aware that if you are planning to visit us we are still observing the following CDC Recommendations:

  • Facemasks covering nose and mouth must be worn at all times
  • Social Distancing of 6’ will be maintained.
  • No more than 2 Visitors onsite at any one time.

Please plan accordingly.

Curbside service will be continue to be made available to anyone who wishes to remain in their vehicles. Please give us a call at 608.271.5155 to make arrangements and our staff will come out to meet you.

The safety of every member of the Viking family is of upmost importance to us - from our craftsmen and their families to all that proudly call us their cue maker.

The Viking Cue Showroom has Re-Opened and Factory has Resumed Normal Hours.

The date of Wisconsin Governor Tony Ever’s “Safer at Home” order has now come and past. Although there are still additional guidelines in place for Dane County, Viking’s home, the Viking Showroom and manufacturing facility are now open during regular business hours.

Please be aware that in our ongoing efforts to prevent the spread of COVID-19, visitors will be required to observe the following CDC recommendations:

  • Facemasks covering nose and mouth must be worn at all times
  • Social Distancing of 6’ will be maintained.
  • No more than 2 Visitors onsite at any one time.

Curbside service will be available to anyone who wishes to remain in their vehicles. Please give us a call at 608.271.5155 to make arrangements and our staff will come out to meet you.

In addition, Viking has now also returned to normal service hours for repairs on your Viking Cue. As previously, please complete the Viking Cue Repair form and included it with your cue when you send it in for service. The repair form is located here:

On April 16th, Wisconsin Governor Tony Evers directed the “Safer at Home” order to be extended until May 25th. In this extension, there were changes made in regards to the restrictions made on many companies and how they conduct business within the state.

Thus far, the order has been effective in keeping new COVID-19 cases minimized in Wisconsin. The efforts of all have kept this crisis at a very manageable level and we are thankful that these measures have proven to keep those important to us safe. We would like to extend our thanks to all for being part of this success.

Although the recent news seems to be getting brighter, for many the COVID-19 crisis has hit much closer to home than simply being inconvenienced by a store closure or an unavailable product. Please know that you are in our thoughts and our entire team sends out our best to you as we continue to go through this together.

We at Viking continue to be available with a limited staff to all of our customers. If you have orders, questions or concerns, our Customer Service Department will respond as quickly as possible to inquiries within reduced hours.

Although the Viking Showroom will continue to remain closed until further notice, the ease in some “Safer at Home” restrictions are now allowing us to receive cues for repair at this time. Please keep in mind that normal repair times will be affected by the minimal staff on premises. Cues needing repair must be shipped to us by a commercial method as there will be no in-person drop-off available.

Please know that for the health and safety of our employees and customers, Viking strictly adheres to workplace practices consistent with CDC guidelines as well as those provided by the Wisconsin Department of Health Services while engaged in permitted operations.

As a measure to minimize the spread of COVID-19 within the state, Wisconsin Governor Tony Evers issued the “Safer at Home” order effectively closing non-essential business within the state effective at 8AM on Wednesday the 25th of March and to continue until the 24th of April.

In compliance with this order, minimal staff will be on hand to maintain Viking’s physical plant and equipment to ensure Viking’s ability to resume full production upon the expiration of the order. Viking Customer Service will respond as quickly as possible to emails and calls within reduced hours.

Cues currently in for repair will be completed and shipped as we return to normal operation. Viking is asking customers to please refrain from sending additional cues in for repair until that time.

As a precautionary measure to protect our customers and staff in light of COVID-19, Viking has temporarily suspended its retail lobby hours. As a result, during this time Viking cannot accept walk-in customers for cue purchase or repair

Although at this time we are operating at our normal business hours, events unfolding around the country may result in the reduction or suspension of our business hours as well as the possible interruption of normal shipping methods with little or no notice. If either of those events were to occur, delays in orders and repairs can be expected.

If Viking is forced to suspend its operations and you have an order placed with us, please know that as a member of the Viking family your order is important to us. Upon resuming shipping and production, every effort will be made to minimize any delay in orders. If you have already sent in your cue for repair, you can be assured that your cue is safe with us but Viking will be unable to repair or return your cue to you until normal working hours are resumed and/or normal shipping methods have been restored.

Simply put… Since there are so many unknowns over the next few weeks ahead, Viking recommends keeping your cue safe at home unless it needs immediate attention. Enjoy it! Play pool with it! Before too long things will be back to normal and we will be able to repair your cue with our usual, industry leading turnaround. In the meantime, please remember to support your local dealers and pool halls any way you can. We won't make it to the end of this journey if we don't all walk it together.
